Police are investigating shootings in West Seattle

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred overnight in West Seattle.

Seattle police first reported the shooting Friday morning around 12:40 p.m.

Authorities said they were investigating a shooting near the corner of SW Raymond St. and Lanham Pl. SW. This area is near Judy Faye Park.

Officers urged the public to avoid the area.
