Amber Alert issued for 1-year-old girl kidnapped by 4 men who killed 1 in Detroit

DETROIT – An Amber Alert has been issued for a one-year-old girl who was abducted by four men who killed one person and fled the scene in Detroit.

Police said the kidnapping occurred on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10:09 p.m. in the area of ​​Compass Avenue and Littlefield Street on Detroit’s west side.

According to police, four men drove up in a newer, gray Dodge Durango and killed a man who was traveling with one-year-old Royalty Childs and a woman.

They took the child with them and fled the scene, officials said.

Royalty Childs is about 60 cm tall, has black hair and a birthmark on her back, the Amber alert says.
