Heavy police presence on Floyd Road in Columbus – CNAW 2 with Colin Scroggins

UPDATE (07/20/2024, 3 a.m. EST): Columbus Police confirmed on social media shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024, that they are investigating a shooting with injuries. It is unclear how many people were injured.

Original story: A heavy police presence is underway in east Columbus.

The incident occurred on Floyd Road at Buena Vista Road following a possible shooting on Friday, July 19, 2024, at approximately 11:00 p.m. A crime scene has been established and investigators are on site.

When our CNAW2News.com team arrived at the scene, we heard at least three gunshots in the distance. It is unclear what exactly happened on Floyd Road at that time.
