Buffalo Animal Shelter Adoption Fee Discount Event

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo City Animal Shelter is hosting a reduced-fee adoption event Saturday.

On July 20, the shelter will cut adoption fees to nearly half of what they normally are.

The fee is about $100 for dogs and $65 for cats, according to their Facebook post. It includes spaying, vaccinations, a bag of pet food and a free first vet visit.

Those who adopt will also receive $75 toward training and a free grooming session from Hounds & Hops.

The event runs from 9:30am to 4pm at 380 N Oak St in Buffalo. Cash and checks are accepted only.

Food and drinks will be available for attendees. Those who already have pets are asked to bring them and meet potential adopters before adopting.
