Woman arrested in Warsaw after stabbing

According to Benton County Sheriff Eric Knox, on Thursday, July 18, at 10:41 p.m., the Benton County Dispatch was notified of a stabbing that had occurred shortly before at 33035 KK Highway, a rural address in Warsaw.

When officers arrived, they found Douglas E. Roberts, 55, a resident of that address, sitting on top of his wife, Pamela E. Roberts, 55, who also resides at that address.

Douglas said his wife Pamela stabbed him twice in the back with a large camping knife after he returned from a walk by the lake with his dog. Douglas said his wife was angry that he had been gone for so long.

Pamela was arrested without incident. She appeared to have no injuries and made several statements about how she could not believe she had actually stabbed her husband. Both parties had been drinking alcohol.
