1 dead and 1 injured after accident on McCormick Road and South Western

RANDALL COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) – One person is dead and another is in the hospital following a crash on West McCormick Road and South Western Street on July 4.

According to DPS, a pickup truck was traveling south on Western while a motorcycle was traveling west on McCormick.

According to the officers, the driver of the pickup truck ignored the right of way at the intersection and drove into the path of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle then crashed into the pickup truck.

The driver of the motorcycle, identified as 61-year-old Jimmy Snider, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle’s passenger, identified as 56-year-old Jean Snider, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
