Barricaded man reported in Cedar Park

CEDAR PARK, Texas – Cedar Park Police are currently responding to an incident involving a barricaded person.

Officers are located in the 400 block of Cypress Creek Road, the same block as Cedar Park City Hall.

Residents of the surrounding areas are asked to stay at home until further notice.

Police said they would post updates on social media but no further information was available at this time.

As a precautionary measure, a request to shelter in place was sent to the surrounding neighbors.
