Atlanta Braves News: Update on Michael Harris, Stellar Charlie Morton, More

The Atlanta Braves have already had an injury-plagued 2024 season, from Spencer Strider to Ronald Acuña Jr. and many others. Several players, however, are giving us their latest news regarding their recovery status.

Michael Harris II, who suffered a hamstring strain on June 14, began hitting and throwing. He has not yet been cleared to appear, but his return may not be far away.

Tyler Matzek jumps 90 feet after being placed on injured reserve on May 7 due to elbow inflammation.

As for AJ Minter, another rehab start is scheduled for Sunday, which will allow him to be activated early next week. He was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 30 due to left hip inflammation.

And finally, the road to recovery continues for Ian Anderson, as his rehabilitation assignment has been transferred to the Augusta GreenJackets.

The San Francisco Giants have placed two infielders on the 10-day injured list in Thairo Estrada and Wilmer Flores. Estrada suffered a sprained wrist and Flores has tendonitis in his knee.
