Texas is one of the busiest car states in the country. Thousands of people are on the roads at any given time. That means it pays to be extra cautious when driving near other drivers. November 12, 2012, Jefferson County, Texas

It’s never fun to drive in bad weather; rain, wind, or in this case: fog. And that’s exactly what caused this 100-car pileup on I-10 in Jefferson County, Texas. 2 elderly women were killed when a semi-truck slammed into them after losing sight of what was ahead in the fog. In total, around 120 people were injured in the accident.

February 11, 2021, Fort Worth, Texas

Yes, I think we are quite familiar with THIS accident; in the early morning of February 11, 2021, 133 vehicles collided on I-35W near downtown Fort Worth, Texas due to black ice. 65 people were injured (3 seriously) and 6 people lost their lives in the accident. Without a doubt, it was one of the worst traffic accidents in Fort Worth, not to mention the state of Texas. Just watching the footage still makes me shudder…

The most important thing you can do when planning a road trip is

  • Check the weather conditions as well as the condition of your vehicle to make sure it is safe to drive on the highway.
  • Do not drive while drowsy or impaired,
  • Pay attention to other drivers on the road,
