Abandoned lover shoots ex-girlfriend and new boyfriend in West Philly, police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

Two people were injured when an angry ex-boyfriend fired shots into his ex-girlfriend’s home from the street in West Philly on Monday night, police said.

According to police officials, the incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Monday when a man – who police believe was the female victim’s ex-boyfriend – fired shots from outside the property at a home on Peach Street, near Market Street in West Philadelphia.

Two people in the home, the shooter’s ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, were injured in the incident, officials said.

Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where authorities said their condition was stable.

As of about 7:30 a.m., the police had not yet received any further information about the people involved in this incident.

In addition, law enforcement authorities did not immediately announce an arrest in this case.

However, police officials said the investigation was still ongoing.
