One person injured in car crash in Iowa

One person was injured in an accident in Iowa under the I-20 overpass.

Shortly before 7 p.m., a southbound vehicle crashed into a support pole on the I-20 overpass on Iowa Boulevard, just past Iowa Avenue. The driver, a white male, was initially unable to exit the smoking vehicle. He complained that he could not move or feel his legs. When first responders arrived, he was lying on the ground and still could not move or feel his legs.

The emergency services were able to quickly take him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Nothing is currently known about his condition.

The road is clear and traffic is moving slowly in this area.
