With the help of the public, the suspects in the stabbing in Watertown were identified | Local news

{KXLG – Watertown, SD} A June 15 stabbing incident has resulted in the identification of two suspects thanks to the public’s assistance. Watertown Police officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:34 a.m. in the 200 block of 1st Ave NW, where they discovered a male victim with life-threatening injuries.

The victim was immediately transported to Prairie Lakes Hospital by the Watertown Fire Department.

{KXLG – Watertown, SD} A male victim suffered life-threatening injuries in a knife attack.

The investigation is being conducted in cooperation with the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). Authorities have assured that there is currently no immediate threat to the community.

The Watertown Police Department thanks citizens for their important role in conducting the investigation. The two individuals identified are cooperating with law enforcement and charges are pending.
