Lakers star Christian Wood’s ex-girlfriend is seeking a domestic violence restraining order, claiming he attacked her last week

Christian Wood has reportedly been accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and influencer Yasmine Lopez filed for a domestic violence restraining order this week.

According to TMZ, Lopez accused the Lakers big man of grabbing and dragging her legs on May 2.

The outlet shared a photo of Lopez showing bruises near her knee.

The couple’s child, Kobe Sean, was reportedly present at the alleged altercation.

Wood, meanwhile, was previously given a three-year restraining order against Lopez after she allegedly stalked him, broke into his home and vandalized his car.

The NBA player was also awarded sole custody of their 10-month-old son, and his lawyer claims Lopez is being dishonest.

“The allegations made by Ms. Lopez against my client Christian Wood are completely false and retaliatory in nature,” his attorney Holly J. Moore told TMZ.

According to TMZ, Lopez also said that Wood texted her to keep quiet about what allegedly happened because the “Lakers run this city.”

She added that she has “lived in fear of what will happen to our son and what Christian will do to me next.”

Wood previously claimed that Lopez broke into his home and damaged one of his cars.

He claimed that Lopez and her friends climbed over a fence at his California residence on February 23 – and then scratched the hood and doors of his Mercedes-Benz.

Wood was previously granted a three-year restraining order against Lopez after she allegedly stalked him and broke into his home. His lawyer claimed Lopez was being dishonest.

Wood then said Lopez got into another one of his vehicles, opened the front gate of his home and walked around his yard.

Neighbors saw what was going on and called police, which led to Lopez’s arrest.

This isn’t the first time Wood and Lopez have had problems.

Wood said that in August 2023, Lopez broke into his home, destroyed items such as statues, glass and vases and tried to beat him. Wood says police were called and de-escalated the situation.

And in January 2023, while Wood was playing with the Dallas Mavericks, he said Lopez broke into his home and spray-painted his Lamborghini.
