1 dead after domestic incident in Alton, Illinois.

ALTON, Illinois (First Alert 4) – A man was killed in the early morning hours of a domestic incident in Alton, Illinois.

According to Alton police, they responded to a disconnected 911 call just after 3 a.m. and were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of West 19th Street. At the scene, officers found two men in the front yard of the home. One of the men was unresponsive and not breathing, police said.

The police and paramedics performed life-saving measures on the man and took him to a nearby hospital, where his condition was later explained to him.

The police were unable to identify either of the two men. The investigation is ongoing and has not yet been completed.
