Apparent Murder-Suicide in Clayton, New Jersey Apartment – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in South Jersey discovered a dead man and woman in a Gloucester County apartment Tuesday evening in what appeared to be a murder-suicide.

Clayton police said that on May 7, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., officers responded to the Academy Arms Apartments along North Broad Street for reports of a domestic incident and shots fired.

“Upon arrival, police discovered a 45-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman deceased inside the residence,” Clayton police said in a Facebook post.

Police said it appeared to be a murder-suicide.

There is “no danger to the public,” police said.

None of the dead have been identified.
