Jonathan Tucker helps neighbors during a burglary

Jonathan Tucker played the role of the Good Samaritan when a security problem occurred in his Los Angeles neighborhood over the weekend.

The “Kingdom” star came to the aid of his neighbors on Sunday after a burglary occurred in the Hancock Park area, a spokesperson for Tucker confirmed to USA TODAY in an email on Monday. TMZ was the first to report the news.

Tucker called the police after the actor noticed a “suspicious man walking around, banging on doors and talking to himself,” according to TMZ. When Tucker subsequently noticed his neighbor’s front door was open, he reportedly went over to check on the house.
