Woman claims famed psychiatrist Henry Jarecki raped her after Jeffrey Epstein sent her to him for help

A woman who claims she was sexually abused by Jeffrey Epstein has sued renowned psychiatrist and business magnate Henry Jarecki for rape and sex trafficking.

The unnamed woman, known in court documents as “Jane Doe 11,” filed a lawsuit in New York City on Monday alleging that the now 91-year-old “raped her multiple times” after Epstein sent her to him for treatment.

The complaint, which was first reported by The Wall Street Journal, He further claims that Jarecki took control of the woman’s life by keeping her in his Manhattan apartment and forcing her to have sex with him and other men.

A lawyer for Jarecki said: “The allegations will be proven to be completely false and baseless. Dr. Jarecki has never behaved in an offensive manner toward the plaintiff or any other person.”

Jarecki began his career as an academic psychiatrist in the 1950s, teaching at Yale Medical School and co-authoring the widely read textbook Modern Psychiatric Treatment. From 1967, he became a major player in the international precious metals market before co-founding the movie programming service Moviefone and producing several plays and films.

Although his name is listed in Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous address book, little is known about the exact nature of his connection to the notorious sex offender, who is said to have frequently exaggerated his relationships with famous and powerful people in order to boost his own image.

According to the lawsuit, “Jane Doe 11” came to the United States through a modeling agency around 2010 and asked Epstein for help in obtaining a work visa.

The lawsuit further alleges that Epstein sexually abused her and then referred her to Jarecki to deal with the resulting psychological distress.

But instead of helping her, the prosecution claims that Jarecki even abused her and kept her in his apartment in Gramercy Park in New York City.

It alleges that he took testosterone pills to increase his sex drive, forced her to have sex with other men in front of him, and abused her on one of his private islands in the British Virgin Islands, where Epstein also maintained a now-infamous personal retreat.

The woman demands an unspecified amount of money.
