NYPD asks for help identifying suspect in subway groping incident

NEW YORK, NY — The New York Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying and locating a man involved in a violent touching incident on the subway. The incident occurred in the 24th Precinct and Transit District 3.

On Saturday, May 18, at approximately 10:40 p.m., a 21-year-old woman was approached on the northbound platform of the “A” train and allegedly grabbed her buttocks by the suspect. No injuries were sustained during the incident. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man, between the ages of 30 and 35, of medium build, approximately 5’7″ tall, 175 pounds, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, dark pants, and a black baseball cap. Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward to help identify the suspect.
