Gilmer Police Arrest Seven People in Prostitution Investigation

GILMER, Texas (KETK) – Gilmer police said they arrested seven people Saturday as part of their “Operation Dear John” prostitution investigation.

“Prostitution is often associated with drug use and trafficking, as well as human trafficking. The Gilmer Police Department plays an active role in preventing such criminal activities.”

The following seven people were reportedly arrested in connection with the “operation”:

Amber Nichole Davis was arrested for prostitution and is being held in the Upshur County Jail on $1,500 bail.

Toravion Lewis Levince was arrested for solicitation of prostitution and released on bail from the Upshur County Jail on Sunday.

Shuntze Taylor of Kendrix was arrested for solicitation of prostitution and released from the Upshur County Jail on bail Sunday.
