Severe weather updates

Due to weather-related power outages, the University Park Public Library and Holmes Aquatic Center will remain closed until power is restored. Check the city’s social media accounts for the latest updates.

Garbage collection is suspended until further notice. Crews are concentrating on clearing fallen branches and twigs caused by this morning’s storms.

Oncor currently estimates there are more than 5,300 outages due to power outages in University Park, and crews are actively working to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
