He said: “Johnny Wactor was a spectacular human being. Not only a talented actor who was dedicated to his craft, but also a true moral role model for all who knew him.”

“He represents hard work, persistence and a never-give-up attitude. Through the ups and downs of a demanding profession, he always kept his head up and continued to strive to be the best he could be.

“Our time with Johnny was a privilege we would wish on anyone. He would literally give you the shirt off his back. After more than a decade together, he will forever leave a hole in our hearts.”

Early Saturday morning around 3 a.m., one of the suspects is said to have shot Wactor, after which the trio entered the crime scene.

The police were called to the scene at around 3:15 a.m. and paramedics took the victim to the hospital shortly afterwards.

Wactor was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Johnny’s mother Scarlett told NBC4: “I just don’t understand the senseless cowardice this person has done.”

Local authorities initially did not provide any descriptions of the suspects.
