Investigation into infant death: 4-month-old girl found dead in Houston hotel room, Harris County Sheriff’s Office says

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a four-month-old baby was found dead in a Houston hotel room Sunday afternoon.

At 2:56 p.m., officers were dispatched to 7111 Rancho Mission Drive, where a couple was staying in a hotel room with their baby, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a post on X, formerly Twitter. The baby, identified by his family as Brooklyn, was pronounced dead.

The exact circumstances surrounding the infant’s death are currently unclear.

The sheriff’s office has not released any further details about the couple or the toddler.
