Early morning double shooting in Trenton under investigation

The Mercer County District Attorney’s Office is investigating a violent shooting that occurred overnight in Trenton that left two people injured.Police responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 2:10 a.m. at 528 North Clinton Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found two unidentified people with gunshot wounds.

Emergency CPR was performed on one of the victims before both were taken to a local hospital for further treatment.

The area was cordoned off while police conducted a thorough search for additional victims and evidence related to the shooting.

No other injuries were reported. The suspect responsible for the shooting reportedly fled the scene and is still at large.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing as authorities attempt to understand the circumstances of the shooting and locate the suspect involved.
