AMBER Alert issued for 10-month-old boy in southwest Virginia

SCOTT COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police (VSP) are searching for a 10-month-old boy believed to have been abducted in southwest Virginia on Monday.

Law enforcement issued an AMBER Alert Tuesday afternoon for Cedar Samuel Griffith of Scott County, near Virginia’s state lines with Tennessee and Kentucky.

According to VSP, the kidnapping occurred just after 8:15 p.m. on Monday. It is believed he was kidnapped by 30-year-old Ashley Jordan Griffith.

The two may be in a blue 2005 Lexus RX330 with an unknown temporary Tennessee tag, VSP said.
