Niagara County fire declares home a total loss

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Niagara County home has been deemed a total loss following a fire Sunday morning, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

Crews responded to 3189 Stone Road in Hartland shortly after 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A fire had broken out on the front porch of the home. Multiple fire companies were called to extinguish the blaze, including the Middleport Volunteer Fire Company.

All residents were able to escape safely and are being cared for by the Red Cross. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
