Prepare for a weird and wonderful experience as the Oddities & Curiosities exhibit takes over Buffalo

Enjoy a showcase of all things weird

Buffalo, New York – Get ready for the strangest and most exciting event of the year as The Oddities and Curiosities Expo, the ultimate celebration of all things peculiar and extraordinary, returns to the Buffalo-Niagara Convention Center in Buffalo, NY on August 3-4.

Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased at https://odditiesandcuriositiesexpo.com

The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is a one-of-a-kind traveling exhibition that brings together over 150 oddity vendors and artists from across the country. This is where the weird, the wonderful and the downright bizarre come together in a fascinating exhibition of the extraordinary.

The event will span from coast to coast, visiting 31 cities across the United States and Canada in 2024.

If you love the weird and unusual, this is your playground. Enter a world where you can browse and purchase rare and unique items including taxidermy, preserved animal specimens, original horror and Halloween-inspired artwork, antiques, metaphysical paraphernalia, handcrafted oddities, skulls, bones, and collectible grave goods.

But it’s not just about shopping: it’s an immersive experience.
The expo features photo ops, tarot readings, live performers and concessions to entertain and engage attendees throughout the day.

Founded in Oklahoma by Michelle and Tony Cozzaglio, they have organized over 200 events from coast to coast in North America after realizing there was a market for this type of large-scale event.

“We are the first and largest traveling exhibition showcasing weird businesses and artists from around the world,” Michelle said. “We have a deep passion for supporting small businesses and weird artists around the world. We started this exhibition to provide a safe place for everyone to be themselves surrounded by a community of like-minded people.”

The Oddities & Curiosities Expo is the original event dedicated to curated oddities, running every year since 2017.

“Our event is so successful because we have a strong ‘Do It Yourself’ ethos and have evolved to provide the best possible exposure for our exhibitors and attendees,” added Michelle. “We work with the best exhibitors in the world and curate our show to showcase exactly what our wonderful attendees are hoping to see.”

Visitors to The Oddities and Curiosities Expo can also purchase tickets for a one-day taxidermy class where they can learn how to make their own life-size taxidermy mount, which will vary by city, or insect pinning classes.

In both classes, hosted by The Sleeping Sirens, students will work with sustainably sourced specimens to learn the basics of taxidermy and entomology and will be provided with a variety of tools and materials.

It is important to note that all animals in the taxidermy class and other parts of the exhibit, such as preserved specimens, were ethically sourced and died of natural causes.
