Houston officials to address misinformation about Hurricane Beryl response at news conference

City leaders, including Houston Mayor John Whitmire and interim Houston Police Chief Larry J. Satterwhite, will address public concerns about the response to Hurricane Beryl at a news conference Sunday.

The press conference will take place at 3 p.m. and city leaders, including Acting Homeland Security Director/OEM Thomas Munoz and Houston Police Officers Union President Doug Griffith, will address recent inaccurate statements about the City of Houston’s response to Hurricane Beryl.

KPRC 2 will broadcast the press conference live.
