Joe Peters talks about the investigation into Trump’s assassination | 28/22 News

WILKES BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— There are more questions than answers in the investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Trump.

28/22 News spoke with Joe Peters, Wyoming County District Attorney and former federal prosecutor.


Peters also served under Presidents Clinton and Bush and frequently worked with the intelligence community.

“What we don’t know is how the attacker got onto the roof. Was he there from the beginning? Probably not. Did he break into the building and seek shelter there overnight? We don’t know,” Peters explained.
