Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run accident in Aurora

DENVER (KDVR) — According to Aurora police, a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Aurora Saturday morning.

Police received a 911 call at 9:39 a.m. about the accident, which occurred at the corner of East Hampden Avenue and South Uravan Street.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where he later died.

The vehicle involved was a blue sedan that was missing a passenger side mirror and probably had front-end damage.

He was last seen leaving the scene heading east on Hampden.
