Police ask for help identifying two women accused of attacking father and young daughter on MBTA train – Boston 25 News

BOSTON – Police are asking the public for help in identifying two women who allegedly attacked a father and his young daughter on an MBTA subway last week.

The Transit Police Department released surveillance images of the suspects on Friday and said the attack occurred around 1 a.m. on June 5 on a Red Line train between the Downtown Crossing and Quincy Center stations.

“It’s just bad. And karma is real – God doesn’t like ugliness,” Nene, a Quincy mother, told Boston 25.

Nene has a four-year-old daughter and she is upset about an alleged attack on the T.

“It’s sad because that could be their father and I’m pretty sure they don’t want that to happen to their father,” Nene said.

She is not alone. Other T drivers share her concerns.

“It’s terrible. Obviously no one deserves this,” said Tariq Sobhi of Quincy.

Police say if you see these two, tell them.

“I hope that anyone who sees her comes and tells the police because we have to get her,” he said.

Tariq believes that the cyclists should be able to take the subway without fear of being attacked and he hopes that the police will catch up with them soon.

“Of course there are always precautions, but it shouldn’t be like this. It’s a safe city and we should all feel safe in our city. So I hope they get caught and justice is done,” he said.
