Falmouth Police Respond to Car Crash into Home at Night

FALMOUTH, Massachusetts (WLNE) – Falmouth Police responded to a car crash that occurred overnight where a car crashed into a home.

According to a Facebook post, firefighters were dispatched at about 2:30 a.m. and found a mid-size SUV in the kitchen of a Cape-style single-family home on East Falmouth Highway.

The driver of the vehicle had already left it and suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Full penetration of the building caused significant damage to the vehicle and home, including an active water leak, electrical hazards, and structural compromise.

The home is habitable and city inspection services are currently working with the homeowners, who have safely exited the home.
