Person arrested in Forsyth for possession of 22 grams of cocaine

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ellis Zellner and charged him with cocaine possession and seven other charges

FORSYTH, Georgia – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a suspect in Forsyth with cocaine possession, a news release said.

Ellis Zellner was arrested Friday following a search of the Union Hill Apartments in Monroe County.

According to photos submitted by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, officers took away over 22 grams of cocaine. Also visible in the photo is a gun and other drugs, including marijuana and hydrocodone, that the Sheriff’s Office found at the scene.

Zellner was charged with eight different charges: possession of crack cocaine with the intent to resell, possession of cocaine with the intent to resell, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of hydrocodone, possession of drugs with the intent to resell in a public housing facility, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of drug-related items.


He is currently being held without bail in the Monroe County Jail.
