Prince William accidentally revealed important news about Princess Anne’s head injury.

King Charles’ little sister had to go to hospital for a few days because she “suffered minor injuries and a concussion” after being kicked by a horse.

In the last episode of A truly royal Podcast, presenter Andrea Caamano, Emmy Griffiths and HELLO!’s Royal Editor Emily Nash speaks to Sky’s Royal Correspondent Rhiannon Mills about the recent royal incident that forced Anne to take a break from her royal duties.

Rhiannon spoke candidly about the viral video of the state visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan, which shows the Prince of Wales discussing Anne’s health with the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.

“I don’t know if you noticed because you may not have seen these recordings, but during the State Visit there was a moment when the King and Queen showed the Emperor and Empress various items from the Royal Collection,” Rhiannon noted.

He added: “Then suddenly Prince William almost punched himself in the face and I thought, ‘Oh, wait a minute, they were talking about Anne.’ Well, look, I didn’t get it confirmed, but it was literally the day after. It looked quite like they had talked about it.”

Princess Anne was discharged last week and will resume her royal duties following medical advice.
