3 people arrested by Fort Collins police on unrelated warrants during motel search

DENVER (KDVR) — The Fort Collins SWAT team arrested three people at a motel in the 1500 block of North College Avenue on Wednesday, the agency reported.

The team was at the motel to execute several search warrants, according to the agency. Officers were on site for about six hours, interviewing residents and searching the rooms and business office as required by the search warrants.

Ultimately, officers arrested three people on unrelated warrants and seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, stolen property and a firearm. The names of those arrested were not released, nor were any charges they may face, but the agency said the investigation is ongoing and more charges and arrests are expected.
