Missing kayaker found dead at Lon Hagler Reservoir

A missing kayaker was found dead at Lon Hagler Reservoir west of Loveland Wednesday evening, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

The man’s family reported him missing after he failed to return home from kayaking on the reservoir on Tuesday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said in a post on X.

Search and rescue teams found and recovered his body Wednesday evening, the agency said at 7:41 p.m.
