One dead and one injured in shooting in Norfolk

One person was killed and another injured in a shooting in Norfolk early Monday morning.

Police responded to the 700 block of East Little Creek Road near the intersection with Tidewater Drive after a shooting was reported around 1:25 a.m. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and a second victim had a “graze wound” that is not considered life-threatening.

Officers have arrested a person suspected of being involved in the shooting.
