Shooting in Rochester leaves man with life-threatening injuries; investigation ongoing

An investigation is ongoing following a shooting on Michigan Street in Rochester in which a city man suffered life-threatening injuries.

According to Rochester police, officers responded to the 100 block of Michigan Street around 12:30 p.m. on Sunday for a report of a man being shot. Upon arrival, officers found a man with at least one gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to a local hospital and is being treated for serious injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to call 911.
