Daisy Kelliher’s sister Bonnie Kelliher had a serious accident in Thailand and the Below deck sailing yacht star shares details about what happened and how she and her family reacted. Daisy is one of the most important faces of Below deck sailing yachtafter she was the chief stewardess in seasons 2 to 4 and is rumored to continue to be the chief stewardess in the upcoming fifth season. Bonnie was seen in Below deck sailing yacht Season 4, when she visited her sister and hung out with the crew.

Daisy announced on Instagram in the last few days, Under deck Fans and friends know what happened. “2.5 weeks ago my sister had an accident in Thailand” she began, before describing all the medical things Bonnie had to go through as a result.

“She has had multiple surgeries, including on her chest, face and brain, and two emergency surgeries, one when it happened and one over the weekend, and a 12-hour operation last week.”


daisy said Bonnie was released from intensive care over the weekend, but will stay in hospital in a “normal” Room for two weeks or possibly longer.

After her first post, Daisy went into more detail about what happened to Bonnie. Daisy said she had been in Thailand with her sister and thathe posted on Instagram with her family’s permission.

Daisy said it was a miracle that Bonnie survived her accident, which apparently happened because she was not wearing a helmet while riding her motorcycle.

Bonnie said her sister was helped by a friend who noticed Bonnie hadn’t come home and found her in the hospital. Daisy’s first message to her followers was to look after her friends, and she also made a second request.

“Please don’t get on the moped and if you do, wear a helmet and be insured (no helmet, no insurance),” Daisy urged.


Daisy also explained that Bonnie was in a fantastic hospital and to be well taken care of. Both of Daisy’s Instagram posts were met with overwhelming support and compassion from the Below Deck community and her fellow cast members. Below deck sailing yacht Season 2 stewardess Alli Dore wrote: “Oh my God, I’m so sorry! Please say hello to Bonnie for me.”

Usually it’s the other people’s fault, but without protection it often doesn’t end well,” he said after talking about a close friend who died in a motorcycle accident.
