The new Cover Country Jamboree will take place next weekend in Buffalo

There are so many new little country jamborees in Western New York that have popped up over the years and it’s been really fun to see new traditions start to pop up.

There’s a new country jamboree happening with some of America’s best tribute and cover bands. It’s happening next weekend in Sunset Bay.

They’ll have tribute bands ALL DAY, including Luke Bryan tributes, as well as cover bands from Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith and Jason Aldean. Tribute bands are some of the best in the world. I was actually impressed when we saw them a while ago. Think “Vegas” level performance. For example, when you see the Luke Bryan tribute band, you’ll think maybe that’s REALLY Luke Bryan – it looks just like him. Take a look at the video below.

The festival runs all day with drink specials and a barbecue.

Tickets start at $20. It seems like a lot of these little jamborees that started in recent years have come about since the Jam in the Valley ended. The Jamboree in the Woods takes place every year in July with camping. The Western New York Country Music Festival has closed up shop after attempting to locate in the former Braun’s Concert Cove in the Akron area.
