Two were arrested in Bluefield, Virginia, following a search warrant

BLUEFIELD, Va. (WVVA) – Two wanted men were arrested today in Bluefield, Virginia.

According to Bluefield, Virginia, police, at approximately 10:15 a.m., officers assisted the Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to locate a wanted person at a residence

Scott Johnson, wanted out of Tazewell County for a probation violation, was believed to be at 103 Hillcrest Street in Bluefield, Virginia. When officers attempted to contact Johnson at the residence, he discovered inside but refused officers’ commands to leave the home.

After this incident, a search warrant was obtained and the apartment was entered.

Johnson was taken into custody shortly thereafter along with Donnie Phillips, another wanted person.

Phillips was wanted out of Smyth County for a probation violation.
