Three people have been arrested for the alleged rape of three minor sisters in Palghar district of Maharashtra, a police official said on Monday. It is alleged that the accused repeatedly raped the three sisters over the past year.

Palghar: Three people were arrested for allegedly raping three underage sisters in Palghar district of Maharashtraa police official said on Monday. It is alleged that the accused repeatedly raped the three Sisters last year.

After the victims’ parents separated, the girls were taken into the care of their father, who is an alcoholic, said Senior Inspector Jitendra Vankoti of the Pelhar police station.

According to the officer, the accused took advantage of the sisters’ distress and raped them repeatedly.
