In March, Channel 9 reported that Holly Hill Police Chief Jeff Miller and a captain had resigned amid allegations.

Since then, two sergeants have been placed on paid leave.

Some of the incidents described by victims in this report allegedly occurred during their working hours, others outside of work.

They range from inappropriate photos of the captain and sergeant to inappropriate touching.

Channel 9 is still going through the report page by page, but we know it contains multiple allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct by Miller, a captain and two sergeants.

At least one of the victims was a female office worker, the report said.

In the report, she said she faced sexual harassment in the workplace.

In one incident in July 2022, the victim stated that she was in the bar with another officer when Holly Hill Police Sergeant Shannon Fountain approached her from behind, grabbed her by the waist and pulled her back into his groin area.

The chief, a captain and a sergeant resigned because of their alleged involvement.

Disciplinary action against a fourth police officer – a sergeant – is still under review.

The city manager said he was “deeply dismayed” by what he read in the report.

Channel 9 is still reviewing the full report and will provide live updates on Eyewitness News at 10am and 11am.
