Police were dispatched to the McDonald’s on Teutonia near Villard early Thursday morning

Milwaukee police responded to a fatal shooting at a Milwaukee McDonald’s. It occurred around 4 a.m. Thursday at the McDonald’s on Teutonia Avenue near Villard Avenue. According to police, a 23-year-old person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office as Rosalind Rogers of Milwaukee. Family members returned to the scene Thursday afternoon and described Rogers as an activist and mentor. “I just want everyone to remember Roz’s name. She cared about everyone. She didn’t deserve this and whoever did it, justice will prevail,” said Aliyah Rogers, Rosalind’s twin sister. WISN 12 News saw police focusing on a car in the parking lot of the fast-food restaurant. Police have not released any further details and have made no arrests. Milwaukee police responded to a fatal shooting at a McDonald’s in Milwaukee.

It happened around 4 a.m. Thursday at the McDonald’s on Teutonia Avenue near Villard Avenue.

According to police, the death of a 23-year-old was confirmed at the scene.

The victim was identified by the Milwaukee County Coroner’s Office as Rosalind Rogers of Milwaukee.

Family members returned to the scene Thursday afternoon and described Rogers as an activist and mentor.

“I just want everyone to remember Roz’s name. She cared about everyone. She didn’t deserve this and whoever did it will get justice,” said Aliyah Rogers, Rosalind’s twin sister.

WISN 12 News saw police focusing on a car in the parking lot of the fast food restaurant.

Police did not release any further details and made no arrests.
