Thursday is a First Alert Weather Day

LANSING, Michigan (WILX) – Thursday is a First Alert Weather Day on WILX.

Thursday will be mostly warm and humid with partly to mostly sunny skies. A cold front will move across the area late Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening. There is a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms developing quickly ahead of the cold front. Any rapidly developing thunderstorm could bring damaging winds, heavy rain and hail. A brief tornado is also possible. The Storm Prediction Center has placed our region in the “Low Risk” category (Level 2 of 5) for severe weather for Thursday.
