Police release photos of woman after incident in Media City

Police have images of a woman they are trying to identify following a reported theft in Salford.

The alleged theft occurred on March 15 this year in the Media City district, police said. Officials did not disclose what exactly was stolen.

In an appeal on social media today (June 10), Salford Police released two CCTV images of a woman they are now trying to identify in connection with the incident. The woman can be seen in the images wearing a blue coat and trainers.

Anyone who recognises her or has any information should contact officers. Alongside the images, an officer wrote in a post on GMP Salford’s Facebook page: “#APPEAL | Officers are appealing for information to identify a female in connection with a theft which occurred on 15/03/2024 in Media City, Salford.”

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC DAWSON on [email protected] quoting CRI/06FF/0007192/24.”
