MIAMI (WSVN) – An investigation is underway into a triple fatal drive-by shooting in southwest Miami-Dade that left two adults and a child dead.

The shooting occurred in a shopping center at the corner of Southwest 152nd Avenue and Bird Road.

Miami-Dade police said they received a call just before 8 a.m. and when they arrived on scene, they confirmed it was a triple shooting that left two adults and a child dead. Their identities have not been released.

7Skyforce showed an aerial view of the area where a silver BMW SUV was shot at, parked with its doors open next to a Chase ATM. Another unidentified vehicle was parked next to it. It is not clear if the unidentified vehicle was involved in this shooting.

The background to the shooting is currently unknown, but we are waiting for the mobile emergency services to arrive to secure evidence.
