Waco, Texas Police Department swears in new police officers

WACO, Texas – The city of Waco will have 11 new police officers.

The Waco Police Department announced on Monday, June 3, that it has accepted 11 new officers from the 84th Police Academy.

The officers were sworn in during a ceremony in the police tower.

“These officers have come a long way from the recruitment process to a rigorous academy and are ready to serve our community,” Waco police said in a social media post.
