Delaware State Police Investigate Seaford Shooting

SEAFORD, DE – A shooting incident in Seaford is currently being investigated by Delaware State Police following an attack at a residence that left a teenager injured.

The incident occurred on the evening of May 29, 2024, at approximately 6:21 p.m., when police officers were called to a home in the 26000 block of Kelly Circle. Upon arrival, authorities found that two unidentified suspects had fired multiple shots into the occupied home.

A 15-year-old girl suffered a gunshot wound to her foot in the shooting and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported in the incident.

The investigation is being led by detectives from Troop 4. The Delaware State Police is asking anyone with information about the shooting or the suspects involved to come forward. Witnesses or anyone with relevant information can contact Detective W. Saylor at 302-752-3897.
