Police investigate Mercer County crash that killed passenger – WPXI

SOUTH PYMATUNING TOWNSHIP, Pennsylvania – A man died in a car crash in Mercer County over the weekend.

Brenton Tymchyshyn, 29, of South Pymatuning Township, was a passenger in a car that crashed at the intersection of Buckeye Road and Saranac shortly after 4 a.m. on May 26.

About an hour after the crash, Tymchyshyn was pronounced dead at Sharon Regional Medical Center.

According to the Mercer County Coroner’s Office, Tymchyshyn died of blunt force trauma to the head and chest. His death was ruled a homicide.

The South Pymatuning Township Police Department is investigating the circumstances of the accident.
