Minnesota man found guilty of kidnapping and bank fraud after 2022 incident

(Minneapolis, MN) – A jury in federal court in Minneapolis has found a man guilty of kidnapping, bank fraud and identity theft.

Authorities say Raphael Nunn was caught after robbing two women at gunpoint in Arden Hills in September 2022. He forced one of the women to drive him to a Minneapolis ATM and withdraw cash before stealing her car and fleeing. Surveillance video showed him getting out of the stolen car and entering a nearby store.

A search of Nunn’s house revealed evidence of further robberies.
